| 随着中国经济的飞速发展，财产权问题的重要性日益凸显，并获得各界学者的广泛关注。财产权的内涵及其演变、财产权问题与经济发展的关系、如何化解土地利用过程中引发的矛盾以及在后《物权法》时代如何构建相应的法律规范体系，引发了学者们从经济、政治、法律、公共政策等视角的讨论。
在此背景下，芝加哥大学法学院、中国人民大学法学院和香港大学法学院决定于6月17日—18日在中国人民大学法学院和芝加哥大学北京中心举办“财产权与中国的发展变革”国际研讨会。届时，来自中国、美国、欧洲等地的学者将与会并将围绕经济发展变革背景下中国物权的演进、土地所有制改革的问题、拆迁过程中的物权保护等题目从经济学、政治学、法学等视角多维度探讨物权领域存在的问题和对策。
